About Me

Hello! 👋 I’m Zuhair Ahmed, a product manager based in Florida, sharing life with an amazing wife, our curious daughter, and two cats who truly run the household. I currently lead NIM Developer Tools at NVIDIA, focusing on building tools that simplify AI inference for developers.

Previously, I led DevOps integrations at MongoDB, worked on cloud infrastructure at AWS, and mainframe computing at Broadcom (CA Technologies). My career started in corporate business development, where I worked on strategic partnerships, investments, and acquisitions—a field that continues to intrigue me. I hold degrees in Computer Science from Oregon State (Go Beavers! 🦫) and Finance from NYU Stern.

Most mornings kick off with a workout—I alternate between weight training and cycling 🚵. Weekends are for hiking 🥾(currently exploring the trails at Lake Louisa State Park), experimenting with homemade pizza 🍕, and immersing myself in all things science fiction 👨‍🚀.

I proudly grew up in Long Island, NY (cinnamon raisin bagels are the best) and have lived in Seattle, Singapore, and Cairo—each place leaving a meaningful mark during my formative years. Also shaped by my Pakistani heritage I'm gradually improving my Urdu one sentence at a time.

This blog is my personal space to delve into ideas I'm exploring in AI, DevOps, business, society, and the books, habits, and tools that leave a lasting impression. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to discuss tech, life, or anything in between. These days, I also frequently visit the Bay Area and would be happy to connect over coffee if you're nearby.
